Character Development

 Our main character who we still haven’t settled on a name for (but I like carmen) is going to be played by my partner Andrena Dominguez. We’re both in Musical Theatre so the acting is going to be top notch. But this character-which we are going to call Carmen for now- is a “wanna be” popular teen girl who is feeling troubled lately. We’ll see this side of her when we’re going through her laptop. Her social media, facetime call, and the abrupt hang up on her mom all show this. She has her whole life planned out through technology: Calendars, pictures, mood boards, banks accounts, etc. She's a bit stuck up. Carmen also has a friend who she’s facetiming who we depict as being the same age and a little bit annoying. She pressures Carman to come to the party even though she is not in the mood.
